What about second committee?
We hear you. The Tour Committee® is a shining example of Members at all levels working together to do the damn thing, but this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Or is it its own iceberg?
Let’s think of each committee as an iceberg - each will need a tip… no, no, no, that’s not right either.
Let’s just say, we need more committees and there will likely be an amount of icing involved.
We are the only thing keeping Smirnoff in business, after all.
First, we posed the question.
In the NashBash ‘23 feedback survey, we asked where people wanted to help out. Here are the results. It’s a donut chart because we tend to focus better when food is involved.
The big draws are obvious - several of you have asked to help out with tours and kit. Add recruitment to that list and we’ve got the holy trinity of what makes this club look good.
Looks are, however, only jersey deep. There is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes, and while many of us reserve our Blues to wear mainly on tour, you’re a part of gypsy rugby all year long.
We want to make sure the club is a true reflection of the good our members put into it, as well as the good we hope to promote and accomplish as an organization.
