BATTLESHIP - Mobile, AL
Hello all,
Well it has taken me a little while to put my thoughts to paper or computor depending how you
look at it. This has been one of the more interesting Tours we have been on for quite some time.
First off thanks to everyone for coming to the tourney and giving up your time to hang out with
the Blue Tide and their ducks. Well done to the Ladies for winning their division and coming
home with a Bell (hopefully it wasn’t lost in transit). Fellas well done again a couple of hard
games and some people really stepped up and proved their worth. I think that we will go back to
Battleship someday when we don’t have a counter tour going at the same time. I think we all
realised that together we would of come out better. On that note well done to the DT Demons on
making the final; it was well deserved.
As we move a head there will be some changes made to the next Tour in order to restore some
balance to Tours and a better understanding of who does what and your role as Founder, Member or
Rookie. While I understand that there is a reccesion on understand that we are feeling it too. If
you have not paid your Tour fee or have kit and have not paid for it please get on Pay Pal and pay
for it so that we can pay our bills. Each tour costs us roughly $6000 when we buy equipment/entry
and misc fees. So please make sure that you are doing your part and paying for the service that
we are providing.
Well done to "Whitey" - Colleen Lawrence and congratulations as the MVP of the Tour & to
John Boy Laurenzi - MVP of the tournament.
New Founders:
- Dana Jackson
- Katie Mcgurn
- Joe Finnern
- Tyler Dees
I hope that you will all be able to add to our ever growing group of friends and possibly at
some point down the line taking the reins and leading us down the right path in the future.
I look forward to seeing you all on Tour 16 in Missoula, Montana for Maggotfest in May. Start
saving now I will be sending out the evite in January.
On a side note please look at using LionHeart as the supplier for your clubs as this will help
reduce costs for you the Gypsy's further down the line. Please ensure that who ever contacts
Lionheart knows they are being reffered through the Gypsy's.
Thanks - Liam
